Arici Pogonici Kindergarten, Gherla (kindergarten no. 4), was established in 1970 and operates as a preschool unit on Mihai Viteazu Street, no. 10, Gherla. Following the application of the Education Law no. 84/1995, with the subsequent amendments and completions, regarding the reorganization of the school network in the pilot counties, starting with 2005 Arici Pogonici Kindergarten became a unit with legal personality subordinated to the following structures: Hungarian teaching based on Armenească Street, no. 20 and Arici Pogonici Kindergarten structure II (Kindergarten with PN no.5) with Gherla headquarters, str. Mihai Viteazu, no.20. Arici Pogonici Kindergarten, together with its two structures, have the chance to be located in the historic center of Gherla, a historic baroque city.
